We all walk the ground with smiles on our faces. Yet we never show what really lies beneath. We all hide the pain of our lives under a porcelain smile. Hoping to oneself that the next day will be better. Living our lives watching our stride as to not step over the metaphorical red line. With every fictitious smile we lie to our self and everyone around. Acting as though life is in perfect order. When in all honesty it's crumbling beneath our feet with every step. The lies we tell to ourselves and others change everything. One misguided truth can offset the greatest thing you have ever worked for. That little white lie spirals slowly out of control until it rips control from your being. Now that lie has created a rift, be it small or big, that rift now sits under your conscious until you let the truth escape. Until you do, that the lie controls you. You live it and it steers you to an uncontrollable path. You fall into a pattern and never realize what your doing. It becomes second nature to you. Telling everyone what you know they want to hear. You stop being honest and become the image you want everyone to see. That cycle needs to be broke by an uncomfortable realization that you use lies as your crutch throughout life. You depend on them to save your pride and your image.
We all need to be our own person and stop lying to ourselves. Everyone has so much to give and it is next to impossible to do that while we tread the shadow of the one in front.
Live for yourself and put your worries behind you. It's one step in front of the other and the only way you are getting there is if they are your 2 feet. Life's to short to be pissed at the world and pretend to be someone your not. Do something about it.
